Weltha Louise Pennington

Weltha Louise Pennington, 86, of Crown City, Ohio went to be with her Lord on Saturday, November 12, 2005, peacefully at her home at 8:00 pm. Louise was born on January 21, 1919 in Bladen, Ohio; the daughter of the late Rev. Samuel Lewis and Lueva Houck Lewis. She was retired from Timken Roller Bearings of Columbus, Ohio as an inspector; an active member of French City Baptist Church, and a member of the Bethel Ladies Aid. She is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Carl S. Pennington, whom she married on July 15, 1960. Two daughters Betty Ann Johnson of Gallipolis and Lynn B. Shirley Angel of Crown City, Ohio; Six Grandchildren Tammi Kenny Barcus, Jeffrey Johnson, Larry Angel, Timothy Shelly Angel, Lisa Roger Hopkins and Kristi Zickafoos; Ten Great Grandchildren, Timothy Scott Angel, Wesley Angel, Larry Bub Angel, Kayla Johnson, Kody Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Kallisa Zickafoos, Oakey Johnson, Jr., Haley Hopkins, and Tianna Angel. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers Bill Strait, Wilson Lewis, Josh Lewis, Steve Lewis, and Wallace Lewis, five sisters Renee Davis, Mellisa Caldwell, Goldie Caldwell, Zenie Trowbridge and Mary Burris, and by one grandchild Wesley P. Angel. Services will be 1 PM on Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at Willis Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Hope Mausoleum at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 from 6-8 PM at Willis Funeral Home.
