William J. Proctor

William "Jason" Proctor, 64, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away at his residence.

Son of Linda Call Fife and the late Billy Proctor, Jason was born on February 10, 1962 in Gallipolis, Ohio. He graduated from Kyger Creek High School as a member of the class of 1980. A retired Boilermaker from Union #105 and painter from the Painter's Union, Jason's community involvement was extensive. His memberships included the Gallipolis Shrine Club; the Kanauga Sportsman Club; Hillbilly Clan #7; Gallipolis Masonic Lodge, Morning Dawn #7; and the American Legion, Post 27. Jason also appreciated nature, and he enjoyed farming.

In addition to his mother, Jason is survived by a son, Jake Proctor; stepfather, Eddie Fife; sisters, Tammy Proctor and Deanna Proctor; step-sisters, Regina Roush, Debbie Peterson, Vivian Spires, and Sonya Nibert; a special cousin, Jackie Dye; as well as several other extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; his stepmother, Geraldine Proctor; uncles, Tommy Proctor, Mike Proctor, and Delmer Call; and an aunt, Anne Hemsley.

A Celebration of Life at the Gallipolis Shrine Club will be announced at a later date.
