Wilma J. Porter

Wilma J. Porter, 72, of Gallipolis, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Holzer Medical Center. She was born February 10, 1945 in Portsmouth, Ohio, daughter of the late Wayne and Nellie Logan Traylor. Wilma was married to James R. “Red” Porter and he preceded her in death. Surviving are her children, Jerry (Tonya) Traylor of Rodney, Regina Eskew of Tennessee, Sharon (Raymond) Pauley of Proctorville; 5 grandchildren, Adam (Beth) Traylor, Brian Harold Jr., Heidi Coffman, Brooklynne Pauley, and Kyra Traylor; 5 great grandchildren, Aiden Traylor, Raelynn Traylor, Riley Harrison, Xavier Harold, and Xayne Harold; a brother, Donald Traylor of Greenup, KY. In addition to her parents and husband, James R. “Red” Porter, Wilma was preceded in death by sisters and brothers, Inez Nicholis, Harold Traylor, Christine Whaley, Phyllis Traylor, June Traylor and Ernestine Diller. Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Clay Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Ralph Workman officiating. Willis Funeral Home is assisting the family.
