Crystal Smith

Crystal D. Smith, 39, of Gallipolis, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2015. She was born February 14, 1975 in Pikeville, Kentucky, daughter of Eddie Smith and Carla Hall Blankenship, who survive her. She was married to Chadwick Gibson and he survives her. Surviving are her husband, Chadwick Gibson of Magoffin County, Kentucky; three children, Tayler Nicole Manny of West Chester, Ohio, Eddie Bryan Smith and Rebekah Elizabeth Smith, both of Pikeville, Kentucky; her father and stepmother, Eddie and Pam Smith of Pikeville, Kentucky; her mother and stepfather, Carla and Harold Blankenship of Gallipolis, Ohio; grandmother, Ruby E. Hall of Gallipolis, Ohio; step grandfather, JR Bartley of Pikeville, Kentucky; a sister, Jamie Burnette of Pikeville, Kentucky; a niece, Jasmine Morris of Pikeville, Kentucky; aunts and uncles, Veronica Manny of West Chester, Ohio, Suzie and Steve Trimble of Pikeville, Kentucky, Judi Paris of Bluefield, Virginia, Mike Manny of West Chester, Ohio, Rick and Ava Smith of Dorton, Kentucky; and the father of her children, Brian Howell of Gallipolis, Ohio. Crystal was preceded in death by her grandfather Carl D. Hall, grandparents Ed and Clemia Smith, step grandmother Lavaughn Bartley and a special friend Tammy Jones. Services will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Willis Funeral Home with Randy Bentley officiating. Entombment will follow in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens, Chapel of Hope Mausoleum.
