James D. Duty

James D. Duty, 60, of Patriot, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2006 at the Holzer Medical Center Emergency Room. He was born on August 21, 1946 in Delbarton, West Virginia to the late Joe Duty and Kathleen Hall. Surviving are his wife, Rhonda Withers Duty; sons, James F. Dee Duty of Mercerville, Kellis Johnni Duty and Shawn Suzanne Duty, both of Patriot; daughters, Kathern Terry Adams and Angela Willie Lane, both of Gallipolis, Tia Shaye Bare of Salem Center; thirteen grandchildren; brothers, Russell Duty of Gallipolis, Carlos Duty, John “Barry” Duty and Tony Flores, all of Columbus; sisters, Laura Ann Don Paxton and Beverly Duty, both of Columbus, Delores Tom Patton of Las Vegas, NV; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Pauline Duty Hoff, brothers George Duty and George Hall Sr., and a grandson Raymond A. Stephens II. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2006 at Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Amos Wilson officiating, burial will follow in the Duty Family Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from noon until the time of the services at Willis Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Kellis Duty, James F.
