Marlinda 'Marty Rae' Cox

Marlinda Marty Rae Cox, 63, of Gallipolis, OH, went home to be with her Lord, Monday, June 27th, 2011. She was born May 16, 1948 to the late Ray Boden and the late Virginia Ingersoll Boden. She was born and raised in Akron, OH. She had two children by her previous marriage, Zane G. (Robin) McIntyre II and Misty Lynn McIntyre of Akron, OH and two children by her present marriage, Ray E. (Tia) Cox and Sara Lynnette Cox, one stepson Brian E. (Mistee) Cox and one stepdaughter Sherry (Jeff) Seagraves all of Gallipolis, OH. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Warner E. Cox of Gallipolis, OH; a brother, Roger L. (Pat) Boden of Akron, OH; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Marvin R. Boden, son Ray E. Cox and her daughter Misty Lynn McIntyre. Marlinda was a homemaker and loving mother to everyone she knew. She was a member of Potters Wheel Pentecostals of Gallipolis and she loved her Savior with all her heart. Her family celebrates her life and her going home farewell on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Nibert Sr. officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home prior to the service from 6-7:30 p.m. Interment will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 1, 2011 at Mina Chapel Cemetery. Cemetery: Mina Chapel Cemetery, Friday, July 1, 2011 10:30 a.m. Visitation: Willis Funeral Home, Thursday, June 30, 2011 6-7:30 p.m. Service: Willis Funeral Home, Thursday, June 30, 2011 7:30 p.m.
