Samuel Robert Spear

Samuel Robert Spear, 34, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 24, 2018 in Las Vegas. Born on July 14, 1984 in Springfield, Ohio, Samuel was the son of Gregg Spear of Gallipolis and Lisa Wurthman of Las Vegas, who both survive him. In addition to his mother and father, Samuel is survived by his sister, Megan (James) Sheets of Gallipolis; niece, Javen Sheets; nephew, James Sheets; aunt and uncle, Birdie and Don Brown of Pikeville, Kentucky; cousins, Bobby Brown of Pikeville, Kentucky and Dawn Lea Turner of Barboursville, West Virginia; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and other aunts and uncles. The memorial service for Samuel Robert Spear will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Bethesda United Methodist Church with Pastor Jim Holman officiating. The family will have a private burial in Bethesda Cemetery at a later date.
